LG had a pretty strong start during the Windows Phone launch with the Optimus 7 for Telus and Optimus Quantum for Bell. Unfortunately, it’s been over a year since those two devices were released and we haven’t heard a peep since in regards to their Windows Phone plans.
Well, a user who goes by untitledmangxg on XDA-Developers claims to have purchased a tester unit in Romania and is having his way with it. There looks to be a 4″ IPS display running at the standard 480×800 resolution running Windows Phone Mango, but besides that we don’t know much. The design is standard LG, with rounded corners and what looks to be a stylized Windows button on the front. The back reminds us of the LG Optimus Pad with a horizontal metal strip and what looks to be an 8MP camera with flash. We’ll post more as we get it.
