Developers and hackers celebrated earlier this week when Google released the Android OS 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich source code. While we wait for manufacturers to give a complete list of devices that will get the official upgrade, many are busy putting the OS to the latest Androids. Take this video that shows the Samsung Galaxy SII with ICS successfully ported over – however, it’s still early alpha stage and some important aspects are not functioning, such audio, modem, Bluetooth and WiFi… but it’s a solid start. Samsung UK confirmed a couple days ago that the GSII will be upgraded, but gave no timing.
