At Google I/O earlier this they unveiled Android OS 3.1 Gingerbread. Some of the cool upgrades include re-sizable home screen widgets, web browser quick controls, USB accessory support and it first rolled out to Verizon customers with no clear date on when us Canadians will get the upgrade. The Wi-Fi version is what we have in Canada and Motorola just noted on Facebook that the upgrade to 3.1 “is coming soon” along with SDcard support.Vague, yes… but at least we’re on the radar.
“The Motorola XOOM upgrade for Canada is coming soon! Some of the feature upgrades include basic external SD card support for general SD file and media access, expanded support for USB-connected accessories, additional Bluetooth support and Picture Transfer Protocol to enable easier transfer of photo files to your PC.”
