With new entrant Mobilicity announcing their wireless plans, phones and business model this morning, The Star is reporting that the “company launches on Saturday at 10 a.m. Network service will be available and more than 35 branded stores across the GTA will be open to the public”.
The article also goes into detail about their Toronto marketing plan and how there’ll be billboard and radio ads popping up. Sara Moore, Mobilicity’s vice-president for marketing stated “We are going slow and doing it right, so the billboards that go up have really simple messages as we try to introduce ourselves to customers… We are going to start hard hitting with our advertising and really speak about what these unlimited offers are that we are going to be bringing to the Canadian wireless base.”
