“Emergencies can strike anywhere, at any time. That’s why everyone in Ontario is encouraged to be prepared—by having a plan, assembling a survival kit, and by staying informed,” says the dedicated site about the initiative. The hastag #PrepareYourSelfie has been created to spread awareness about the program that desires Canadians to take a selfie and show commitment with their survival kit and share it using social media.
