In a recent campaign stop, Donald Trump told his followers that if elected, he would appoint Elon Musk to a new “government efficiency” commission role, which would take an overarching look at the federal government and look to cut corners to make it run better, I guess.
I don’t know, but after we’ve seen Musk slowly kill Twitter, I don’t think he needs to be anywhere near any government bodies. Perhaps that’s Trump’s plan: Get Elon to gut the government so he can reign supreme over the remaining skeleton crew.
The funniest thing about this is that in a tweet following up, Elon said he’d do the job for free, which I find hilarious.
