Balatro, one of 2024’s most acclaimed indie games, is set to launch on Android and iOS on September 26th.
Developed by a mysterious developer named LocalThunk (who has confirmed he’s based somewhere in Canada), Balatro took the world by storm earlier this year with its addictive blend of roguelike and poker mechanics. Earlier this month, the game also dropped a free update featuring crossovers with The Witcher 3, Vampire Survivors, Dave The Diver and Among Us.
Notably, the game will also be offered through Apple Arcade (which costs $8.99/month) under the name of Balatro+, which is certainly a big get for the Apple service. Otherwise, it will cost $12.99 on the App Store and Google Play.
