Koodo offers new low-cost promotional plan for $25 and more [Update – Promo over]

Koodo is lowering the base price of its ‘Bring your own device’ (BYOD) plans to $25 CAD with unlimited minutes.

When the carrier restructured its plans on July 3rd the BYOD option started at $30 and only included unlimited texting with data or calling.

The new plan still features no data, but it’s $5 cheaper now and includes both unlimited calling minutes and texting. The plan is slated to last until July 21st. It’s important to note that Koodo restricts its unlimited calling to Canada-wide calls.

That’s not the only promotion the carrier is running right now either.

All of the plans are outlined below:

• $25 – zero data – unlimited calling and texting
• $50 – 4GB of data – 500 minutes and unlimited texting
• $55 – 4GB of data – unlimited calling and texting
• $60 – 7GB of data – 500 minutes and unlimited texting
• $65 – 7GB of data – unlimited calling and texting

Update 22/07/2019: Koodo Mobile has removed the promotional offer and has bumped the rate plans up by $5. The BYOD option now starts at $30, $40, $55 and $75/month.
