Rogers subscribers are reportedly receiving emails regarding the discontinuation of the service provider’s Anyplace TV Home Edition app.
According to a number of users on Twitter, Rogers is currently sending out emails stating that the Anyplace TV Home Edition app will “no longer be available” as of May 31st, 2018.

In separate tweets, the RogersHelps account has directed subscribers to use the new Rogers Anyplace TV app.

While the Anyplace TV app provides users with similar functionality as the Anyplace TV Home Edition app, the former doesn’t allow users to control their PVRs directly through the app.

Rogers launched its Anyplace TV Home Edition app on December 5th, 2012. The app was initially only available on iOS devices, but was eventually expanded to include Android functionality as well.
Rogers launched the Anyplace TV app for iOS and Android devices on March 25th, 2013, consolidating the service provider’s Anyplace TV Live and Anyplace TV Mobile apps under a single application umbrella.
