With the launch of its integrated healthcare platform, Dialogue is the latest Canadian startup looking to tackle the employee healthcare space.
The Montreal-based company allows businesses to offer their employees access to healthcare services through their mobile phone. Employees can access consultations with doctors, text registered nurses with health concerns, and receive summaries of doctor’s recommendations in order to get better. The company says that employees can use Dialogue for a range of issues, including mental health services, nutrition, skin care and pediatrics.
“Dialogue offers a range of health and wellness services, including virtual consultations with doctors if necessary,” said Cherif Habib, co-founder and CEO of Dialogue. “Employees will have access to a personalized team of healthcare professionals adapted to their needs, including nurses, psychologists, and even nutritionists.”
Dialogue boasts clients like Smooch.AI, OMSignal, and Montreal-based law firm BCF. The company is the latest in a string of companies using tech to tackle a traditional industry, including League, which has been bullish in its mission to dominate the employee insurance space, and TranQool, which allows users to access sessions with registered therapists. Newtopia is another Canadian company tackling the enterprise employee health management space, with a recent injection of $10 million in capital.
