Samsung Galaxy S6 might have a metal frame, here are a few pictures

Rumours of Samsung announcing the follow-up to the Galaxy S5 in the coming weeks have spread across the web. Earlier today, a video surfaced online that showed off some new KNOX capabilities, which apparently also featured the design of the upcoming Galaxy S6.

Piggybacking on this is a report from reputable Samsung-focussed site SamMobile and Nowhereelse.fr. SamMobile has stated that the GS6, which is internally known as Project Zero, will be shown to select partners at CES 2015 this week. According to Nowhereelse.fr, Samsung will continue down the path of using metal in its flagship devices. A gallery of images reportedly show that Samsung will launch the GS6 in metal and rid itself of its plastic past. It should also be known that the source was “unable to ensure its reliability.”

Samsung has released the Galaxy Alpha and the Galaxy Note 4 with a premium metal design, so the likelihood of the GS6 following the same design likes is expected. As for specs, the Galaxy S6 is tipped to include a QHD Super AMOLED display, an Exynos 7420 or Snapdragon 810 processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB storage, a 16MP camera, and run Android 5.0 Lollipop.
