App updates galore! Every week, developers push out updates to your favourite applications. There’s just too many for us to dedicate an individual post to every app, especially when the updates are often very minor or just to add one specific feature.
Evernote for Android got updated with support for business card scanning while WhatsApp for Android is on track for an update that will let you switch off those pesky blue check marks that rat out your delayed reply. We also saw the arrival of an Instagram update with an explore section, XCOM: Enemy Within, and a new standalone Android Messenger.

VSCO Cam — Fixes slow editing issue and activates gold ring with successful spot focus.
TwoDots — This sequel to TwoDots is new on the Play Store.
Google Keyboard — New Material Design theme.
Aviary — Support for syncing to Creative Cloud, new photo effects and adjustment tools.

Telegram — Ability to share videos, and send and save documents.
Movie Creator — New arrival that allows you to build movies from pictures and video on your Lumia device.
Facebook Messenger — The ability to message people not on your contacts list, tap to sync phone contacts, and support for doodling.
Translator (formerly Bing Translator) — Drops ‘Bing’ branding, support for offline translation in Vietnamese, copy option for translated text.
Remote Desktop Preview — Adds support for Azure RemoteApp, as well as bug fixes and improvements
Assassin’s Creed Unity — New companion app for Windows Phone users playing Assassin’s Creed Unity. Includes heat maps, interactive world map, training tips, statistics on gear and more.
Metrotube — Fixes issues with playback and navigation.
BlackBerry
Whine — Redesigned UI, improvements to camera, support for pinning favourites to home screen, bug fixes.
Facebook — Fixes newsfeed duplicate issue.
WhatsApp (beta zone only) — Support for sharing locations via BlackBerry Maps, bug fixes, and chats0list filter drop down.
