Apple’s newest iPads — the iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 3 — earlier this week. Both tablets went up for pre-order yesterday and are expected to be widely available next week at Apple Stores and big box retailers.
We reached out to several Canadian carriers — Rogers, Bell, TELUS, SaskTel, and MTS — to understand when the new iPads will arrive on their device lineup. The answer by all was confirmed to be “later in October” for the iPad Air 2 with Wi-Fi + Cellular and the iPad mini 3 with Wi-Fi + Cellular. No word on price points or storage models.
As a refresher, the prices for each tablet are as follow. The carriers are expected to offer the same options, along with a subsidised pricing.
