Bell has created an app that allows your smartphone or tablet to act as a remote control.
If you’re a Fibe customer you can now download the Fibe Remote app view what’s on TV — either by swiping within the content guide or by searching for a specific program. In addition, the app allows you to change channels, set favourite channels, and schedule recordings. Of course, to use this you’ll need to Fibe TV subscriber and be running iOS 6 or higher on your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad.
Update: Bell has launched the Bell Fibe Remote for Android devices – both smartphones and tablets running OS 4.0 and higher. Grab it here via Google Play.
