Bell has been working hard on their “Bell Mobile TV” offering for the past few years. They now have over 100 channels available for your viewing pleasure – including ABC, Bloomberg, CITY, TMN, MTV, NHL network, Slice and the Food Network. The app is available on Android, iTunes, BlackBerry and costs $5/month for 10 hours (overage is $3/hour).
Today the carrier announced a major milestone as they’ve crossed over the 1 millionth Mobile TV subscriber mark. According to Q4 2012 filing, this is a goal that Bell set out to accomplish ‘by the end of 2013.’ In addition, based on 2012 stats, this number is an increase of 700,000 Mobile TV subscribers in the past year.
