The Nexus 4 and select Galaxy Nexus models, along with the Nexus 10, have begun receiving an over-the-air update to address certain vulnerabilities that were recently unearthed.
While Google itself has not yet posted any information on the build, which is identified as JWR66Y, the small file size and lack of user-facing changes leads us to believe it lacks even the basic bug fixes that many users were hoping for since Android 4.3 rolled out last month.
Google has been implicated in an Android vulnerability that allowed a considerable Bitcoin theft, so this update likely addresses that exploit.
Have you received the update on one of your devices?
