The launch is RIM’s 4G LTE BlackBerry PlayBook is only a few short hours away. This tablet will be available through Rogers, Bell and TELUS for $550 outright. Over the past week we’ve been tipped of the Rogers contract pricing – which drops the tablet a tad bit lower to $349.99. If you’re planning on grabbing this from Bell you can also expect the same pricing, but only on an outright price of $549.95 or a 3-year at $349.95.
A reminder of the LTE PlayBook specs are that it has a 7-inch display, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, OS 2.0, 1GB RAM, 5MP rear camera that shoots 1080p HD videos, 3MP front-facing camera, 4800 battery and weighs 425 grams.
