Blizzard’s StarCraft: Remastered and Starcraft II: Campaign Collection will join the PC Game Pass catalogue on November 5th.
Microsoft, the parent company of Blizzard, made the announcement during Xbox’s Tokyo Game Show (TGS) stream on September 26th. It’s worth noting that two of the other instalments in the classic real-time strategy (RTS) series, the original StarCraft and StarCraft II‘s multiplayer mode, are free-to-play on PC.
To celebrate the PC Game Pass launch, Xbox also posted a fun little look down memory lane with the StarCraft series on the Xbox Wire blog. Notably, the pair of StarCraft titles are the latest from Activision Blizzard to come to Game Pass, following Diablo IV and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III (2023). Additionally, next month’s Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will launch on Game Pass on day one.
Outside of StarCraft, other games featured during Xbox’s TGS show include the Final Fantasy I-VI Pixel Remaster (now available on Xbox consoles and Windows PC), an HD remaster of The Legend of Mana (now available on Xbox consoles and Xbox Game Pass), Konami’s Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater (a new trailer, still no release date) and more.
