Arcane’s final season gets staggered release on Netflix in November

It'll come in three acts, just like the first season

Arcane Season 2

The second and final season of Arcane will premiere on Netflix on November 9th.

As confirmed during Netflix’s fandom-focused Geeked Week, Arcane Season 2 will have a staggered release throughout November:

  • Act One — November 9th
  • Act Two — November 16th
  • Act Three — November 23rd

The first season also had a three-act weekly release structure. It’s unclear how many episodes will be included in Season 2, but the animated series’ first season had three episodes per act, so presumably, it will be similar.

Alongside details of the release structure, Netflix also dropped a new clip from the second season:

If you do choose to watch it, though, you should be aware that five episodes of Arcane Season 2 leaked earlier this year, so there’s always the risk of spoilers in the comments or other places online.

Arcane originally debuted on Netflix in November 2021 to significant acclaim, so fans have been waiting three years for the new season. In the series’ swan song, Vi (Hailee Steinfeld) and Jinx (Ella Purnell) come into conflict again amid the war for Piltover. Arcane is based on League of Legends and is one of many celebrated video game adaptations on Netflix, including Castlevania, Cyberpunk EdgerunnersDragon Age: Absolution, The Cuphead Show! and Sonic Prime.

What’s more, Netflix teased additional animated video game shows during the latest Geeked Week, most notably Splinter Cell: Deathwatch (featuring Liev Schrieber as Sam Fisher) and Devil May Cry from Castlevania producer Adi Shankar (no relation).
