Asus has announced its new Vivo S 15 and ProArt PZ13 laptops, powered by the eight-core Snapdragon X Plus. The new laptops expand the Asus Copilot Plus PC series, offering multi-day battery life and AI-powered performance. Both laptops launch in Canada on September 4th.
The Vivobook S 15 weighs only 1.42 kg and has a slim 14.7mm body. Its all-metal body sports a premium CNC-engraved logo. Asus says the laptop can last up to 19 hours on battery and comes with USB-C Easy Charge. It also offers two USB4 ports, USB 3.2, an HDMI 2.1 port, a microSD slot, and Wi-Fi with speeds up to 5.8Gbps. The device sports a 15.6-inch 3K display with a 120Hz refresh rate alongside Dolby Atmos. The laptop costs $1,399 with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. It can be purchased at the Asus store and Best Buy.
The ProArt PZ13, on the other hand, is a very light device, weighing only 0.85kg and is a 9mm detachable laptop for creativity on the go. The laptop is also IP52 and has military-grade durability; it sports two USB4 ports and an SD card reader. Further, it has 21 hours of FHD video playback and a 3K OLED touchscreen that supports stylus use. It also has AI tools like StoryCube for asset management and ProArt Creator to help with your workflow. The purchase of this laptop also comes with a CapCut membership. The 16GB, 1TB storage model is bundled with the Asus Pen 2.0 and is available at $1,649 on the Asus Store and Best Buy.
According to Asus, the Qualcomm Oryon CPU that powers the Snapdragon X platform in both laptops offers “lightning-fast” responsiveness. The integrated GPU supports up to three monitors and offers immersive visual experiences.
