Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) is coming to Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass subscription service on November 12th.
This means that as long as you’re an Xbox Game Pass subscriber, you’ll have access to the popular battle royale title, as well as 100 other video games. A monthly Xbox Game Pass subscription is priced at $11.99 CAD per month,
Rumours that PUBG will make its way to PlayStation 4 have circulated for a few months now, with speculation indicating that Microsoft likely paid for the game to be exclusive to the Xbox One for only a single year. PUBG coming to Sony’s PlayStation 4 would move the title more in line with the game’s main competitor Fortnite, which is available on pretty much every major video game platform at this point, including Android, iOS, the Nintendo Switch, the PlayStation 4 and PC.
All of Microsoft’s first-party titles are available on Xbox Game Pass, including games like Sea of Thieves, Forza Horizon 4, Gears of War 4 and Halo: The Masterchief Collection.
Xbox Game Pass has slowly evolved into an increasingly important aspect of Microsoft’s software strategy for the Xbox One, especially with the tech giant’s xCloud game streaming platform looming on the horizon.
