This week on the SyrupCast, MobileSyrup features editor Igor Bonifacic, telecom reporter Sameer Chhabra and telecom editor Rose Behar chat about a new report recently released by the CRTC.
Rose joins the team from Ottawa after attending a media event in Gatineau at the CRTC’s head office. The report, requested by the Minister of Heritage and Innovation ahead of reviews of the Broadcasting Act and Telecommunication Act, suggested that internet service providers should contribute to media funding in the same way that cable providers do.
