Fans of Google Pay can now look forward to using the platform on their PC and iOS devices.
As of this week, Google has begun rolling out its rebranded payments platform to websites, allowing desktop and iOS users to use the platform to complete online transactions. Online, Google Pay supports Firefox and Safari, in addition to Google’s own Chrome browser. Those that have used Pay With Google in the past will find a familiar experience.
Google Pay’s website lists five featured shops comprising of Jean Coutu, Loblaws, McDonalds, Petro-Canada and Tim Hortons. Featured apps and sites are Doordash, Lululemon, Ritual and Skip the Dishes.
Apple Pay has been available on the web since 2016.
