Leaked renders reveal an upcoming Nokia smartphone that features a notch.
The smartphone, dubbed the Nokia X6 — the exact same name as a Nokia device launched in 2009 — is set to release on May 27th, according to the leak.
Nokia’s upcoming X6 is rumoured to feature a 5.8-inch display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. One variant of the smartphone features a Snapdragon 636 and 6GB of Ram, while the other utilizes a MediaTek Helio P60 chip paired with 4GB of RAM.
The phone seems to include a small chin resulting in substantial display real estate. Further, the phone features a dual rear-facing camera setup with a fingerprint scanner located directly below it.
The Nokia X6 is part of HMD Global’s X-series of smartphones that are reportedly launching in China on April 27th. Finnish company HMD Global purchased the rights to the Nokia brand back in 2016.
HMD Global smartphones are not typically released in Canada, though the company’s phones are often sold by third-party sellers like Amazon and Canada Computers.
