Instagram will now allow users to add photos and videos to stories, even if they were taken over 24 hours ago.
To do so, access your camera roll as you would normally by swiping up from the camera or tapping the gallery icon. Scroll through the camera roll to choose your photo or video and tap to select the media you’d like to share.
Any photo or video older than 24 hours will automatically be marked with a new sticker that allows you to add context for when it was taken. Instagram says that as is the case with all stickers, these time-based ones can be rotated, resized or removed entirely.
Instagram can be downloaded for free on Android and iOS.
