Bell Media’s Much channel has launched the first Canada-made weekly Twitter show from a Canadian media company with SIDES*, a teen talk show that aims to take on controversial topics like: “Do vending machines for the morning after pill promote risky sex?”
The show streams live on the Twitter profile @Sides each Wednesday at 8pm ET, 5pm PT and was made in partnership with video house DAIS. It features six teen hosts that discuss topics “important to youth,” and is broken down into segments like ‘Okay/No Way,’ in which a host talks about one encouraging story and one discouraging story, and ‘Got Beef,’ in which a host rants about someone or something they have beef with.

All throughout the show, the viewers are encouraged to chip in their two cents using the #MySide hashtag. Following the Twitter stream, a one-hour episode of SIDES* broadcasts on Much at 9pm ET, 6pm PT that includes tweets, comments, and videos posted with the #MySide hashtag.
Clips and additional content are also released on Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube and Facebook.
The first livestream of the show on October 11th reached over 45,000 viewers, reports Bell Media.
