Alongside one of the most hotly anticipated Samsung Note iterations yet, the Samsung Gear 360 camera and Gear VR refresh are now available in Canada.
The Samsung Gear 360, a camera capable of taking video that span a full 360 degrees is priced at $499.99. The device, which was unveiled during Mobile World Congress 2016, is available at Samsung Experience Stores in Canada, which are located in Metrotown (British Columbia), Richmond Centre (British Columbia), West Edmonton (Edmonton), Sherway Gardens (Toronto).
The camera utilizes two 195-degree fish-eye lenses with f/2.0 apertures on each side, both capable of shooting 4K video and 30-megapixel still images. MobileSyrup got a chance to take a close look at the device at the early August unveiling event in New York.
Also available at the Best Buy-based stores is the new version of Samsung’s Gear VR headset, which costs $139.99. As noted in our hands-on, The refresh notably moved the device to USB-C port access, added a physical home button and enlarged the lenses.
