It’s that time again — OnePlus is pushing a new version of OxygenOS to its latest device, the OnePlus X.
The update adds a couple of small but significant enhancements to the OnePlus X’s particular blend of OxygenOS. Most notably, a manual mode has been finally added to the stock camera app, as well as the option to save photos to a microSD card. Moreover, a number of dual SIM card options have been added back to the OS’s setting menu. Lastly, as with most updates, there are a number of unspecified bug fixes and performance optimizations.
Like all OnePlus issued over-the-air updates, Oxygen OS 2.2.0 is rolling out to OnePlus X users incrementally. The company does this so that it can quickly respond to any issues that crop up.
Last week, OnePlus uploaded a community build of OxygenOS 2.1.4 to its forums, allowing OnePlus One owners to check out some of the latest features to make their way to OnePlus’ take on Android.
