A new photo has emerged from an Indonesian Nexus community on Google+ purporting to show the upcoming 2015 Nexus 5.
The device, which appears to have a white polycarbonate body and curved Lumia-like camera bump, has all the makings of a legitimate leak, though we’re still unsure of its origins. The device is full of prototype-like stickers, including a very clear “Not For Sale” etching next to the vertical Nexus logo, which is placed similarly and in the same orientation as the 2013 Nexus 5.
As previous rumours have speculated, the device appears to have a ring below the camera sensor that holds a fingerprint scanner, along with a dual-LED flash and what looks like LG’s now-patented laser autofocus module.
A sticker with the LG logo and a grainy model number of LG-H791 matches an IMEI submission to a website called IMEIData that confirms it belongs to a legitimate LG handset.
Expected in later October, the updated LG Nexus 5 may have a 5-inch 1080p display, an octa-core Snapdragon 620 processor, 2GB of RAM, the aforementioned finger scanner, USB-C charging port, along with the upcoming Android M release. It may also be unveiled alongside a new Huawei Nexus device sized considerably larger.
