Similar to previous Samsung Galaxy flagship smartphones, the S6 seems set to receive a smaller sibling.
Leaked images reveal the company is preparing to release the Galaxy S6 mini, a phone that will include many of the same design features found in the the S6 and S6 edge. Samsung is reportedly set to announce the phone next month.
While the specs phone haven’t been confirmed, the S6 mini is expected to sport smaller and less powerful hardware and internals when compared to its larger siblings. Currently, most rumours point toward the S6 mini featuring a Snapdragon 808 processor, 2 GB of RAM, a 4.6-inch or 4.7-inch 720p display and a 15 MP camera.
With several rumours Samsung pointing toward a Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 edge+ announcement at an event set to go down in New York next month, it’s possible that we’ll see the mini announced then.
