Good news for those that can’t stand to be away from their graphic design work even while on the subway or airplane; Pixelmator today announced that its excellent image editing software is coming to the iPhone.
According to the company’s blog post, the iPhone version of Pixelmator includes all the features that are already in the app’s iPad release, as well as some entirely new ones. For example, there are new distort tools that are powered by Apple’s Metal API. Watch the video below to see the tools in action.
To celebrate the upcoming release, Pixelmator for iPad is currently 50 per cent off on the App Store. Those interested in the iPhone version may as well pick up the iPad app now; once the iPhone app is released, the two will be packaged as a single universal app.
