Toronto-based theScore has updated its eSports mobile app to include support for Valve’s Defence of the Ancients 2 (Dota 2).
The company says this is the largest update to its eSports app since it launched it back in February.
According to the company’s blog post, live coverage is coming for events like the International 5, one of the largest and most prestigious eSports events currently in existence, as well as leagues like Beyond the Summit and the Asus ROG Dreamleague.
Additionally, theScore says that users will be able to set up the app to send them notifications with updates on their favourite teams and players.
The app’s score screen basically includes everything a Dota fan would want to know about a particular game, including hero picks and bans, Roshan kills and cheese uses. Lane match ups are also broken down with statistics like last hits and denies being displayed.
The update is available now on the App Store and Google Play Store.
The company also updated its main app, bringing Apple Watch support to it.
