Galaxy S6 design possibly revealed in leaked pictures

With only a few days remaining until Samsung officially unveils the Galaxy S6, it seems the “Next Galaxy” has possibly leaked online in its near-final form.

The images above were posted to XDA Forums and were initially said to be of a “a prototype or test model” that the poster claims comes from AT&T directly. Upon further examination, the original poster said it looked to be an engineering sample.

Either way, the photos depict a Samsung-branded smartphone with metal accents and a larger home button. The design matches up to what carriers in the United States have revealed on pre-release Galaxy S6 sign-up pages.

The pictures show the back of the device with a protruding camera (which is also in line with what we’ve heard), as well as a flash and what looks like a fingerprint sensor. The back looks to be made from glass, which would be consistent with the rumours of the GS6 coming with wireless charging. The sides appear to be metal. The shots of the top and bottom of the device look a lot like that of the iPhone.

On the left-hand side is the usual volume rocker. The right side plays host to the power button and what looks like a MicroSD or more likely a SIM slot if the rumours about a non-removable battery are true. Check the full gallery below!
