Motorola’s Turbo Charger is coming to the Google Play Store. The device showed up on the US Play Store today priced at $34.99 and that same listing has now cropped up on the Canadian Play Store.
The Motorola Turbo Charger is part of the recent trend that’s seen quick-charging technology make its way into several flagship phones. For Motorola, it arrived with the second-generation Moto X and then the Nexus 6, though the required charger didn’t ship with the Moto X in Canada (it did come with the Nexus 6). It’s also been available on Motorola’s website for a while.
To be clear, this charger will charge any device that charges via USB. But devices equipped with Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 2.0 technology will enjoy superfast charging. Motorola promises a whopping eight hours of juice after only 15 minutes tethered to the wall.
