Google is on a tear today with its social-related updates.
Not only is the company bringing SMS support to Hangouts along with location and and GIF sharing, but there is a renewed focus on photos within Google+, both on the web and mobile.
With the release of iOS 7, Google has promised to enable background photo updates on Google+ for iOS, along with full-sized backups, both of which are already available on Android.
The company is also bringing Auto Awesome to video clips — think HTC Video Highlights but on the web — along with new versions of its Snapseed editing suite and improved Highlights, that better filter out blurry or duplicate photos from your feed.
Google will be rolling out the update shortly, but they haven’t specific if it will be coming today.
