Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Round a few weeks ago, which happens to be the world’s first smartphone with a curved display. While the 5.7-inch Round may never see the light of day in Canada, it’s interesting to see how the company is marketing it. Not stretching too far from its previous branding initiatives, Samsung has chosen to go the route of showing random people gently swiping everyday curved objects, indicating that it’s now a natural movement.
With the launch of the Round, plus LG’s upcoming curved Flex, we’re one step close to having smartphones with flexible displays.
