Sony has unveiled a new device in their Xperia lineup today. The Xperia M will be their low-cost device and has similar design lines to the Xperia ZL and Xperia Z. The M runs Android OS 4.1 Jelly Bean, has a 4-inch TFT display (resolution of 480 x 854), a 1GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, 1GB RAM, NFC connectivity, 1750mAh battery, and a 5MP Exmor camera that shoots 720p HD videos. The Xperia M will “be available worldwide from Q3 2013” and come in array of colours – Black, White, Purple, Yellow. No word yet on a Canadian release, but this would fit nicely in any of the carriers entry-level device lineup.
