Eastlink has been incredibly slow to go live with their wireless service. They first declared that Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island would be home to their “world-class wireless network” sometime “mid-2012,” then was recently delayed until “later this year.” For a couple months now the company has posted a splash page on their website promoting that “A Better Wireless Experience is Coming,” but they haven’t listed when or what it really entails.
A slight sign of progress – very slight – has happened. Apparently Eastlink has sent out a flyers to resident of Halifax stating that wireless is coming, but again, fails to give a firm date. They do however encourage people to “pre-register for launch updates.”
