Over the weekend Samsung decided to take a swipe at Apple by placing a full print ad in the papers comparing the differences between the iPhone 5 and the Galaxy S III, specifically noting that “It doesn’t take a genius” to fugue out which one is better. Apple enthusiasts retaliated with the same ad but the tag line being “Don’t settle for cheap plastic.”
Nokia took a more cost effective route to their iPhone 5 bashing. Via Twitter, Nokia wrote that “Lumia 920: Wireless charging, amazing camera, screen you can use with gloves on and much more. No, it doesn’t take a genius. switchtolumia.”
Nokia recently unveiled the Lumia 920, but didn’t give a release date. Samsung declared that the Galaxy S III has sold over 20 million units in 100 days, and just this morning Apple announced that pre-orders for the iPhone 5 reached 2 million within 24-hours.
All bashing aside, smartphones are personal and it’s all based on user preference.
