What could be one of the worst names to grace a smartphone this year, the Acer CloudMobile smartphone is expected to be unveiled at Mobile World Congress. Besides being equipped with the obvious AcerCloud syncing technology, the CloudMobile is also going to have a HD screen of between 4- and 4.3-inches and run Android 4.0.
Acer is also well known for its unique Android skins, as we saw with the Acer Liquid E and Liquid MT. The CloudMobile, which looks to be encased in metal and be less than 10mm thick, has preemptively won an iF Design Award before even being announced.
The phone also looks like it will be one of the first Android 4.0 smartphones, besides the Galaxy Nexus, to use on-screen controls.
Do you like what you see? Would you buy an Acer phone in the age of Samsung, Sony and HTC?
