If the above poster is correct then you can count on WIND Mobile launching the HTC Sensation soon. The ad looks like a WIND Mobile ad and the Sensation is sitting proud next to the recently released Android LG Optimus 2X. No word on a price or an official launch date but Bell/Virgin released this Superphone on July 5th for $549.95 outright. In addition, nowhere in the Bell press release did it say the Sensation was an exclusive device to their network… so this might be showing itself on the WIND site shortly.
The Sensation is powered by Android OS 2.3, a 4.3-inch qHD display, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, Wi-Fi and the ability to create a Wi-Fi hotspot, 8 megapixel camera that takes 1080p HD videos and a VGA front facing camera.
Update: We just heard back from WIND Mobile about this poster. Apparently you’ll be able to buy the unlocked Sensation from those dealer locations outright, not on the WINDTab. Here’s what Community Manager Aileen stated to us in an email: “Good news: it’s not a fake! … From what I gather, that is a poster for a WIND authorized dealer who’ll be carrying the sensation however the device itself won’t have any WIND branding. The dealer locations where the sensation will be available are noted at the bottom of the poster.”
