Nexus 5 now rumoured to be announced on October 15th

The latest round of fresh Nexus 5 rumours coming out of the web is that Google will officially announce the Nexus 5, plus show all the finer details of Android OS 4.4 Kit Kit, on Tuesday, October 15th – not the 14th as previously rumoured. The date comes from a bunch of devs in-the-know who’ll be attending the European 2-week start-up boot camp called ‘Google Launchpad.’

The specs of the Nexus 5, according to the FCC filing, shows Google’s next pure Android smartphone will sport a 4.96-inch display, 2,300mAh battery, 2GB of RAM, 16-32GB of internal storage, LTE connectivity, 13MP rear camera and a 2MP front-facing camera. In addition, the price of the Nexus 5 is heavily rumoured to coming in the $299 outright once again, possibly available through carriers and Google Play.

Update: The ‘LG-D821’ is the model number of the Nexus 5 and it’s just received Bluetooth Certification – which just adds fuel to the rumoured announcement next week.
