Nexus S added to the list of early Jelly Bean ROMs

A ROM based on the Jelly Bean Android 4.1.1 has been made available for the Nexus S, that last-generation Google flagship that is aging better than most Android devices. While Google promised that the 1Ghz single-core/512MB RAM device would officially receive the update in the coming months, developers have taken it upon themselves to bring it earlier.

Apparently everything works as expected, including the camera, which tends to be the most fickle aspect for developers of a custom ROM. At this point if you’re rocking a Nexus S there’s no reason not to install Jelly Bean — Google Now is just about the coolest thing ever.
