Everything would have been smooth if Apple didn’t make the first move. Earlier this week out of nowhere Apple filed a lawsuit against Samsung for copying their “technology, user interface and innovative style” of the iPhone and iPad. Samsung, a company that Apple spends $5.7 billion billion a year on, has retaliated and filed a lawsuit of their own against Apple.
Samsung is citing that Apple’s iPhone and iPad has infringed on 10 patents related to wireless data communications, power controls and data transmissions. In a release Samsung stated that “Samsung is responding actively to the legal action taken against us in order to protect our intellectual property and to ensure our continued innovation and growth in the mobile communications business.”.
Who do you think will win… or will this be settled out of court?
