Snapchat has introduced its first-ever Lens that reacts to what it hears.
The Lens produces an animal mask overlay with eyes that move and ears that pulse, depending on the sound. Snapchat didn’t reveal exactly what sounds get the Lens to react in certain ways, but it seems like the louder the noise, the more the Lens will glow or move.
The Lens is now available in the Snapchat app on Android and iOS.
Snapchat says it plans to launch many more sound-reacting Lenses in the future, with some set to roll out over the coming weeks.
