While Nintendo announced that Animal Crossing Pocket Camp was set to launch on November 22nd earlier this week, the Japanese gaming giant’s next mobile title has launched a day early.
Animal Crossing Pocket Camp is available on iOS and Android devices around the world as of today. If you aren’t able to download the game yet, give it another try in a few hours; servers are apparently overloaded from the demand for the game, though the situation has reportedly improved over the last few hours.
Pocket Camp is free-to-play — unlike Nintendo’s pricey Super Mario Run — though the game also features in-app microtransactions in the form of Leaf Tickets that can be purchased with real-world money. Unlike other versions of Animal Crossing that are set in a welcoming, small town, Pocket Camp takes place in a camp ground.
