Facebook has announced an update to Albums that will make it easier for users to share memories in one dedicated place.
Rolling out today on iOS, Android and desktop, the new features will include: Videos, check-ins, text posts and more can now be included in Albums for easier content sharing.
- Users will be able to follow any specific album they choose, which will show all updates to the collection in a News Feed. Albums can be unfollowed or notifications can be turned off at any time.
- When users create an album, they’ll also be able to add any Friends to collaborate with them on it.
- Favourite Albums can be selected to be highlighted on the main page of people’s Profiles.
