The Pebble Time Round, Pebble’s latest and most attractive smartwatch to date, is coming to Canada on Friday, December 4th exclusively through Best Buy.
Available in two colours and sizes, Pebble has worked extensively with Best Buy Canada to distribute the smartwatch alongside its three existing models — the original Pebble, the Pebble Time, and the Time Steel — as a counterpart to the company’s e-commerce store.
The Pebble Time Round will be available in two varieties, a black stainless steel case with 22mm black leather band, and a silver stainless steel case with a 14mm stone leather band, for $299.99 CAD. Aside from the (obviously) different form factor, the Round is considerably thinner and lighter than any Pebble to date, and one of the thinnest smartwatches ever built.
Pebble is also hosting a Black Friday sale on its own site, bringing the original Pebble to $69.99 USD, the Pebble Time to $129.99 USD, and the Pebble Time Steel to $199.99 USD. The Pebble Time Round, which costs $249.99 USD, is not on sale, making it a better purchase at Best Buy. The others, which ship free to Canada, are significantly cheaper on the e-commerce site than at BBC.
