BlackBerry has officially launched its Android-powered Priv today.
Canadians have been able to pre-order the 5.4-inch slider through BlackBerry’s online store for $899.99 unlocked, but those interested can now buy one directly from most Canadian carriers. Here is a complete list of carrier availability and pricing:
– Wind Mobile: $349 with $25/mo WINDtab Boost to $899 outright
– Eastlink: Still coming soon, but priced $349 with easyTab plus or $901 no-term
– Telus: $410 on a 2-year contract or $890 no-term
– SaskTel: $399.99 on a 2-year contract, $849.99 no-term
– Videotron: Not listed online at this time
– Rogers: $399.99 on a 2-year contract, $799.99 no-term
– Bell: $399.99 on a 2-year contract, $799.99 no-term
The Priv has a 5.4-inch QHD display, 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, 18-megapixel camera with dual tone flash, a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, 3,410mAh battery, and Android 5.1.1 Lollipop with added security features such as DTEK.
