Canadian financial institutions were quick to announce their adoption of Apple’s first wearable. CIBC, Scotiabank, Desjardins and Tangerine all hopped onto the wrist to give customers “banking on the go.”
Today, TD Canada Trust joined the party by updating its app to allow its customers to view their accounts, credit card and investing information, as well as the ability to track various stocks from the wearable.
TD noted that this addition to its mobile strategy “reinforces [its] ongoing commitment to innovation.”
